Add, Edit or Delete
This training manual focuses on the adding of content as it is designed to be used initially by you when adding new content during the building phase of your website's development. The system has been designed to be easy to understand and simple to use while giving you a powerful way of creating an effective marketing website.
In order to edit an item that has already been entered you simply navigate to the same general area that you entered the information originally, but instead of clicking ‘Add’ click ‘View’. This will show you all the entries in that area, you can then click on the title of the item to go into the record and edit it as needed. Don’t forget to click the ‘Edit’ button at the bottom of the page to save any edits you have made.
Delete
The system allows you to delete items. Each time you do, the system will prompt you to confirm your choice to delete. In this way, you can’t accidentally delete an item.
We suggest that rather than delete things, you first make them not show online by unticking the relevant box in the system (this is explained later in detail). This will stop the item showing but will retain the information within it for use in the future, just in case.
There is no undo
Any edits you make or things you delete are permanent. There is no ‘undo’ or ‘go back’. If you need to return to the previous version of an entry you will need to re-enter the information.
