This combat the spam being generated on your website contact form. We are filtering the email through a third party spam filter, before delivering it to you.
How it works
- The email from the form is sent to the spam filter
- The spam filter looks for patterns and known spam, which it then quarantines.
- Safe email is then sent to your email address as usual.
Common Questions
Can the spam filter read my email
- No, it is all done by machines, no humans are involved.
Does the filter ever block legitimate email
- Occasionally, but we will provide you with a login so that you can check what is being held in quarantine. We have been using the system for over 10 years and it has proven very reliable.
Is the quarantine ever deleted
- Yes, email is held for 14 days and then it is deleted.
How do I know if there is an email in the quarantine system?
- When there are 50 or more emails being held, you will be sent an email to let you know.
What about my computer spam filter
- It may be that your computer sees the email coming from the spam filter as spam, but we will send tests and check with you for the first week to ensure the emails you are getting to the form are working correctly.
