Contact Page - Content Creation
Ideally, by including your contact details of address and telephone number in the footer page of the website, people will be able to contact you easily. The Contact Us page is designed to give three ways of communication, to allow the customer to make contact.
- The first is that it reinforces the telephone number, with a call to action asking them to call, and indicating it is not a problem if they do.
i.e. Please call us on 07 834 1335 if you would like to discuss your project or to make an appointment to visit us, we are open 9 till 5 on weekdays and are here to help solve your issues.
- Second is postal address. Seems obvious, but many companies do not put this information on their website. You need to make it easy to get people to communicate, and the postal service is still alive and well, despite the best efforts of email.
- Thirdly, on the subject of email, your email contact details. People are cautious about putting their email addresses online for fear of being targeted by spammers. As part of your Anytime system we have built in spam filters that reduce dramatically the amount of spam you receive, so please do not let this fear stop you. As well as email contacts we include an enquiry form as standard. This is the one area you cannot edit (its quite complex) so we do it for you free of charge. All you need to do is let us know what questions you want to ask, and if multiple choice, what answers.
You might also want to put your opening hours on this page. Yes, I know you put them on the Location page, but it saves your customer having to flick back to that page if you also put them on this one. It makes it easier for them. In case you had forgotten your website is not for you, it is about you, it is FOR your customers.
Remember the Big Three C's; Communication is the ultimate aim of your website, make it easy for people to communicate with you.
